I’ve known Jamil for years! He is an excellent trainer and currently trains both my 15-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son. He also trained my 18-year-old daughter, who is now a college freshman and a D1 athlete.
He has vast experience and knowledge of the human body as well as nutrition and has the ability to train small children to adults. He truly loves what he does, knows how to motivate each athlete the way they need to be motivated, and he does not subscribe to a one size fits all approach when it comes to training. I've been training on my own since I was 17 and I'm 31 now, not knowing a thing about fitness but I kept trialing it out until I met Jamil about 5 years ago and Id have to say the difference in my results in only 5 years compared to what I did myself all those years prior is such a huge difference.

I had the privilege of training with Coach Jamil for several months, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience and strongly recommend Jamil Ramsuer ig:“coachnyvademil” as a personal trainer. I have known him for a long time through the gym, and he has consistently been one of the most genuine, supportive, and knowledgeable people I known.
What truly sets him apart is that he leads with care and positive energy. He is always willing to go the extra step to help, explain, and guide. He does not just tell you what to do — he takes the time to show you how and why. Many times with respect, he has stopped me mid-workout to correct my form and explain how doing it the right way would be safer and more beneficial in the long run. Those small details has made a big difference for me.
He is also very mindful of individual conditions and limitations, and he adjusts guidance accordingly. Ok y’all - ur about to see me in rare form 😬😳 A couple of months ago I began a challenge w/ my husband and very close friends! To lose body fat not weight !! Something you can’t cheat but have to work for! I’ve been in the gym since 2010 and thought I had it all figured out. I was in my routine, maintaining, didn’t need a trainer was not trying anything new and I was SKINNY FAT 🙄 oblivious - a know it all attitude! 4 csection babies later, 36 yrs old I was in this challenge and BOOM insert Jamil Ramsuer Nothing is by coincidence. I have come to understand that God is so very intentional 😭 He has orchestrated this meeting long before!
I told Jamil my goals and I needed to hit them in 3 months, he said “ bet, let’s get to work”. For the first time I was open to being “ taught” I had been timid and insecure to try anything resembling CrossFit, lifting heavy and.... macros what are macros ?? Jamil calculated them for me, broke them down by meals, killed me every Saturday morning to the point of dry heaving in the trash can lol pulled me aside on my reg workout days to give me workouts that challenged me and stopping just to say what’s up and again let me talk about Jesus 😂It has been the greatest experience!!!!!
BUT let me tell you.... Jamil has not only become my personal trainer but my husband and I’s friend ! He has allowed me to talk about Jesus with him, and has been the greatest encourager! Not only telling me you will hit ur goal but exceed it !!! He has a heart for people ♥️ I’ve watched him train others having nothing but the uttemost respect and intentionality for that person! It’s a genuine joy and happiness that comes from him when that person has achieved!
Personally I believe the Lord had us encounter Jamil for a very specific reason🙏🏼 He may not even realize this but he has many Christ like qualities and for my husband and I we recognize and value that! He has been a blessing to both of us!
